Diamond operates a full service maintenance facility at its offices located at 803 N Fairvilla Road, Orlando, FL 32808. The facility has ten work bays that houses seven vehicle lifts. The facility is fully equipped to perform all preventative maintenance and other on-site repairs such as painting and body damage repairs. The maintenance department is staffed by all certified mechanics.
Our philosophy is to recognize and correct every component problem before it has the opportunity to malfunction. Each vehicle’s appearance is of utmost importance to Diamond. Vehicles are cleaned regularly inside and out. Our drivers inspect their vehicles every day before leaving the garage. Our management team does random inspections to ensure quality. Diamond is very proud of our excellent safety and maintenance program. Prior to each shift the driver does a pre-trip inspection. Vehicles with visible body damage are removed from service until repaired. Each vehicle is on a strict 4,000-mile service interval – approximately every 21 days. Vehicles are usually replaced every five – seven years or whenever dictated by conditions or mileage.
Diamond maintains current vehicle permits with the City of Orlando, Orlando International Airport, Orange County Convention Center and Osceola County. Rules governing the operation of Vehicle-for-Hire permits are based on the City of Orlando’s “Chapter 55” ordinance. Diamond abides by these ordinances and all local regulations. Prior to being issued a permit from the City of Orlando, a vehicle must be inspected and passed by a City-approved mechanic. The City also performs random spot checks that Diamond has always passed.
